The downside is; coming home. I took my 2 youngest daughters to Frankenmuth, Michigan for the weekend, and I was not happy this morning when I had to start heading back home.
We had a great time, with lots of relaxing and shopping. My girls enjoyed Zehnder’s waterpark on Saturday. I sat by the pool all day, and managed to get sunburned even with a couple applications of sunscreen.
How is my stress level, you ask? My oldest daughter, who is getting married in October, let me know as I was leaving town Friday that the bridal store where we ordered six custom bridesmaid dresses filed bankruptcy, and locked their doors.
We are hoping they will give us our dresses, but are now planning B & C options since plan A is frozen with a bank. My other 3 daughters are bridesmaids, and I am hoping that since I paid for these dresses on a charge card I may have some recourse.
So that’s what’s going on. Below are some pictures of Frankenmuth!
…how can there seriously be 10 days left before Christmas, and I do not even care?
Like I seriously Do. Not. Care.
Gifts bought? Nope.
Caring about these problems? Nope.
I think I have found my breaking point, and it is trying to buy a house.
I am so crazy busy at work, end of year stuff and packing up my desk to move to a different department…… trying to make sure goals are met for both old and new departments….
Buying a house that is ready to move in; unless if you ask FHA. Did they NOT learn anything from the last fiasco they caused? That last fiasco they caused has had me in this apartment for 8 years.
My girls want to move. My naughty cats want to move. And I want to move. But good grief; how can you ask me to take out the washer sink in the basement so I can not do laundry? And not give me an alternative?
I have 2 of my 4 girls still at home. One is homeschooling 10th grade (which is gonna kill both of us), and a 7th grader who I fight with every day to get up and go to school. And I am trying to do everything I can by both of them so we can all be happy.
…is all four of my daughters being in the same place at the same time. We all have such busy schedules that we literally have to schedule family time as well.
Autumn is looking beautiful in West Michigan, and I wish it would stay like this for the whole year.
Looking forward to a busy Monday off from work, thanks to an incompetent dentist and my crown falling off my tooth and out of my mouth yesterday. I really wish I could say this is the first time this ever happened, but it is not 😦
May your Monday be filled with Blessings and Sunshine!
